common misspellings of 'library' on the ichi nensei test:

1)riverally
2)Reibally
3)riblaly (of course this one's in here)
4)libraly
5)liverally
6)liblay
7)raebulry
8)ribrei
9)lidare
10)lidlery
11)ribriy
12)libuali
13)liverale
14)libloy
15)liverary
16)livrd
17)raveroi

i was going to choose a favorite, but i couldn't do it. they are all equally awful. i'm sorry i am making fun of my students again. it's hard to learn another language. god bless them for trying!

**bonus: one student spelled friends as "folleos". two out of six isn't bad.

the other day my students were peer editing. i told them to tell each other 2 "tips" to make their papers better. one of my japanese students said, what's a tip? another responded, "keep the change, nozumi." i am not sure if this is funny out of context. but i was laughing my ass off.

cheers to foreign living. and teaching, of course.
