meet the cutest kid in the world (other than my nephew and the nephew/niece on the way)

i've hung out with this kid multiple times in haruna and let me tell you she is a hoot. the first picture encapsulates all that is pure joy...the joy you find in a new fluffy, puffy friend.

2) ice-skate on lake haruna
3) learn japanese (a grueling, constant process)

6) find the biggest, coolest rollerskate rink in japan and enjoy it to the fullest
7) visit india(!?!)
8) run the half marathon
9) one more go at all-night dancing in tokyo
10)spend new years with a japanese family

15)hike around oze in the spring
16)learn how to jump rope better and impress my shogakksei

more to come...that's all i can think of at the moment.

i have about 8 more months in japan and i don't want any of my time to go to waste...so i'm writing a post on a beautiful sunday morning. ah.

there are some awfully ugly shoes here in japan, but these "take the cake". i was shameless in my many attempts to capture these beauts while waiting for a train in tokyo.
